1. The service
CQRG lets you generate QR codes, optionally save them, and, for saved codes, view anonymous scan statistics. The generator is free to use and does not require an account. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Use a password you do not reuse elsewhere, and tell us promptly at support@cloudqrgen.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to create an account.
3. Acceptable use
Tracked QR codes redirect through a link on our domain, which makes misuse everyone’s problem. You may not use CQRG to create codes or links that:
- point to malware, phishing pages, or anything designed to deceive people into giving up credentials, payment details, or personal data;
- distribute spam, or are placed in unsolicited bulk messages;
- lead to content that is illegal where you or your audience are located, including child sexual abuse material, incitement to violence, or the sale of prohibited goods;
- infringe someone else’s copyright, trademark, or privacy rights;
- disguise the true destination of a link in order to evade a platform’s moderation, an ad network’s policies, or a security filter (“cloaking”);
- attempt to break, overload, or probe our infrastructure, bypass rate limits, or access data that is not yours.
We may disable any QR code, link, or account that breaks these rules, without notice where the risk to others is immediate. We also block redirects to destinations that fail our automated safety checks.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you encode into a QR code and any logo you upload. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store that content, generate your code, and operate the redirect and analytics features. You confirm you have the rights to any logo or artwork you upload.
5. Availability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. Because printed QR codes can outlive any website, we recommend keeping a copy of your generated image files and not relying solely on our redirect for business-critical materials.
6. Advertising
The free tools are funded by advertising displayed alongside the content. You agree not to interfere with, obscure, or artificially interact with ads shown on the site, including through automated clicks. How advertising data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party links
QR codes and blog posts may link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, and their inclusion is not an endorsement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CQRG is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, such as for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we are required to by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change is material, we will make it prominent on the site. Continuing to use CQRGafter a change means you accept the revised terms.
11. Transfer of this agreement
You may not transfer or assign your account or these terms to anyone else. We may transfer them, together with your account and the data described in our Privacy Policy, to a buyer or successor if CQRG is sold, merged, or reorganised. We will give notice on the site before that takes effect, and the terms you agreed to continue to apply until the new owner gives you notice of any change.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms: legal@cloudqrgen.com. For anything else, see our contact page.
